Cookies and device storage
1. Necessary storage
Session and request-protection cookies support access and security. Sessions last up to seven days; the request-protection cookie follows Django browser expiry settings. Local storage holds language/UI preferences; IndexedDB holds permitted cached data and the unsynced action/photo queue for temporary offline use.
2. Control
Sign out on shared devices. Clear browser site data to remove remaining local data after synchronizing important changes; an unsynced queue will be lost. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in. Advertising cookies, external analytics and marketing emails are not enabled by default; voluntary new tools require a separate choice.
